New Esoterix Review From Robert Laird

These speakers are nothing less then a production of pure genius.

I have owned a pair of Esoterix now for about 6 weeks and in that time my passion for the intricacies of sound have re-emerged. Their ability to hang a soundstage like a portal into the live recording provides me with daily poise, and offers an escape into a musical realm pure in its intent.

Regardless of what I'm playing, whether it be a live master tape or a humble compact disc the subtleties and imperfections of the instruments therein are elucidated with dimension. Something I have been searching for now for many years.

Recordings I have previously put into retirement have recently come out again in a new light. Pieces that used to seem dreary and unprovoking have been re-auditioned, and with the new found depth offered by these speakers, many have emerged as newly found favorites.

Another presence I have had recently is a sense of calm now that I have found these loudspeakers. The feeling that there was something not right in my music reproduction has all but ceased. Many times while utilising these speakers to meditate on a sound piece I have had goosebumps, and they are not only at the sonic purity that can be sustained peacefully for many hours, but also due to a sense of pride that an Australian manufacturer can be at the forefront of true speaker manufacture.
